Mark's Outdoors Open has become the premier tournament in the Birmingham Alabama area, with pro bass fishermen at each tournament fishing with a armature in their boat, signing autographs and talking to the public.

I myself have fished the tournament, helped stock the lake with fish, and had a wonderful time competing in such a well organized event. Mark's puts on this tournament to give back to the lakes, people that support the great sport of bass fishing. So if you ever get a chance to fish a benefit tournament this is the one in Birmingham not miss out on, Held on MAY 2nd 2010.

Even if you can't fish the tournament come to the weigh in he
throws thousands of dollars worth of suff to the public.

The Mark's Outdoors tournament is this weekend the Pros will be signing autographs Thursday at the store in Hoover, and at the ramp on Friday where you can sign up and ride in the boat for drawing and look at new products.
Even if you don't fish you can still get lots of free stuff the Pros throw out to the crowds of people there. Thousands of dollars worth of reels,
rods, worms, lures, fishing line, two boats, fishing

I had the pleasure of fishing one of these events and to sum it up in one word "AWESOME". I had the opportunity to fish with Jason Quinn and I had a great experience and most of all alot of fun. If you get the chance to fish this event, you'll have a great time. Alot's of prizes and a fun day on Lay Lake.
