Great Fishing Trip

Hello fellow Black Bass Anglers and Outdoor Journalists,


The International Federation of Black Bass Anglers (IFBBA) will be making it's 3rd excursion to the Republic of Cuba to fish at the world renown Lake Hanabanilla in the Villa Clara province about 4 hours drive from Havana.

Google Lake Hanabanilla, as well as the hotel Riveria and hotel Hanabanilla to get a photo look where you will stay. Lake Hanabanilla is around 8,000 acres,deep bluffs, grass and brush with stickers and some lay downs.

The water is clear and is fed by 9 small rivers and creeks. The Black Bass eat well because of the Tilipia and Viajacka (Bluegill) Population, but also there is crawfish and eels.

We will have more or less 8-12 anglers as well as some of the best outdoor writers fishing for world record Black Bass in their spawning season which is late January and early February. From JANUARY 28TH THROUGH FEBRUARY1ST we will be fishing for Hawgs in Hawgland.

Yes, this is a one of a life time fishing trip and is not expensive!

Again, the cost breakdown is as follows if you are seriously interested:

AIRFARE from your city to Cancun,Mexico is not included in your cost. In order to fly with us you must be in Cancun by 2:00pm on JANUARY 27,2011.

AIRFARE from Cancun to Havana will range from $322.00 to $450.00 round trip.

TRIP PACKAGE which incudes ground transportation, hotel stay at the Riveria in Havana and the Hanabanilla in Villa Clara, all meals for the entire trip, and your fishing license will total $1,445.00.

CUBAN VISA in Mexico and DEPARTING AIRPORT TAX in Havana is $45.00.
